General Summary
Under the direction of the General Manager, Asia Operations, the Product and Quality Manager is responsible for coordinating product development, sourcing and contract, developing supplier, and quality control in vendor factory.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Coordinate and lead product development, design changes, vendor development and audit, product sourcing, prototype production, and product certification.
2) Develops and manages supplier and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals, assisting in the negotiation of product costs and contract items.
3) Manage pre-shipment inspection, in-process quality control, lead quality improvement initiatives in factory.
4) Monthly report on vendor performance, lead quality improvements.
5) Build department process, standards, and manage tools.
6) Department monthly reports on product development and quality.
7) Team management and coaching, develops department plan and performance.
Qualification & Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related majors.
2. 5 years team leader experiences of product development or quality in refrigeration or home comfort appliances.
3. Fluent spoken and written in English.
4. Be good in communication, organization, and project management skills.
6. Be good in engineering software, MS-office.
7. Strategic thinking, result-oriented.
